Welcome to Vancouver B.C!

Vancouver is a cosmopolitan city of 1.8 million situated at the mouth of the Fraser River. Bounded to the north by majestic mountains, the city is one of the most visited cities in the world.

Vancouver and its many suburbs have everything a traveller could want and more. With mountains less than a 30 minute drive away, the best of the city's ammenities including parks and skiing are close at hand.

Stanley Park is Vancouver's showcase park, as well as one of the city's prime attractions. It is only five minutes from downtown on a peninsula at the entrance to Vancouver Harbour. Almost half of the park's 405 hectares (1,000 acres) is forested and connected by a network of footpaths. Other areas of the park feature an aquarium and many recreational facilities.

Vancouver is also a gateway city with links by air to all major cities in North America and the world. Greater Vancouver consists of many neighbouring cities and municipalities stretching for over 100 kilometres through the Fraser River Valley to the east, across the harbour to West and North Vancouver and south to the U.S. border .

The Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal in
